Role Purpose :


The purpose of the role is to drive the business growth of edible oils products of Food Solutions in Asia Pacific and ensure customer satisfaction liaising with internal and external stakeholders.


Main Accountabilities :



  • Manage and develop businesses independently with existing and new customers, for both flexitank and packaged oils in Asia Pacific countries
  • Manage soft seed oil sourcing from global Bunge origin plants and selected third-party suppliers
  • Develop tropical oil new business flow for APAC
  • Responsible for deliver business plan of assigned portfolio and territories
  • Work with Global Customer team to service Key Customers in APAC and develop new opportunities
  • Provide business analysis and present to regional leadership
  • Business travel to meet customers and attend trade events, exhibitions for new leads and turn them into sales
  • Manage contract terms and conditions with customers, suppliers and service providers
  • Lead business growth initiatives on industrial, e.g. white space opportunities, include Commercial Excellence meetings participation
  • Liaise with internal cross-functional teams for new product development, customer product approval, specification matching, sampling, and pricing
  • Responsible for risk management and collection for the assigned customers.
  • Responsible to manage and grow the agent/ distributor for the assigned market


Market Analysis

  • Generate market insights by monitoring market movements, analyzing internal reports and engaging with origin trading teams
  • Provide market insights to internal colleagues and external customers


Commercial Reporting and Operation

  • Perform commercial analysis and maintain commercial records, e.g. forecast, action plan, sales channel, commercial reporting, Salesforce
  • Responsible for financial result reporting to leadership, including monthly comments, periodic business review
  • Manage contract execution with operations team to ensure customer satisfaction, e.g. logistics, freight rates, payments
  • Manage customer complaints with internal and external stakeholders







  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial sales or trading of seed and tropical oils
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Entrepreneurial with strong customer ownership & troubleshooting mind-set
  • Good data analytical skill with strength in Microsoft Excel
  • A strong communicator
  • Strong proficiency in English
  • Any proficiency in one Asia language eg. Chinese, Bahasa, Korean.
